The 2008 Diesel Film Racing Tour came to Los Angeles on Friday, May 2nd, 2008.  Filmmakers were challenged to create an original short film in just 24 hours, from 10PM on Friday, May 2nd to 10PM on Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 based on the following assignment:

 

THEME : Karma         SURPRISE ELEMENT : Action - Watering a Plant

 

All of the completed films will premiere for the public at the Music Hall 3 on Thursday, May 8th from 9:30PM-11:30PM  (see screenings below).

Bonnie Gillespie - An author an casting director, Bonnie was recently named a Top Film Casting Director in Back Stage West's "Best of Los Angeles" Issue; was interviewed on BBC Breakfast and Judy Kerr's Internet series, Acting Is Everything; and appeared in a series of web-based interviews for the Virtual Channel Network, the new website from The Hollywood Reporter and Breakdown Services. Currently, Bonnie is exec producing her first film.

 

Sam Harper - Writer of "Cheaper by the Dozen" 1 & 2, "Just Married", and made his directorial debut with "No Place Like Home", which is currently in post.

 

Kent Nichols - Co-creator of the 'Ask a Ninja' web series and writer/director of the upcoming 'Attack of the Killer Tomatoes' remake.
